He grabs her and kicks with his back claws. We had his front claws taken out (He is strictly an indoor cat, I am allergic to his claws), but the vet refused to remove the back claws. I have been scolding the cat for playing with the puppy this way and the puppy even does her little growl at him. Does any one have any suggestions?

Also, I want to say thanks to everyone who offered names and other puppy advice. You are all a terrific help!

He’s already ripped her stitches once from biting her stomach so how am i supposed to stop him from biting her period?

KittyK wrote: How do you be firm with a 9 month old puppy without yelling/ or tapping on nose.
Sometimes when I am on the couch and I want him away from me such as I am eating, should I just ignore him if hes close to be or say NO kind of loud and low. I have done this and he doesn’t listen. I admit, I have tapped him on the nose not too hard though and he did respect me then but isn’t there another way? I do enroll in puppy classes in a few weeks.

And yes I know, I posted this on three sections. But I wasn’t sure which one it would go under, and I wanted to make sure I got enough answers, because I love my cat to death and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to him.

During the day when we are not home he is in his crate & when I come home for lunch to let him out, he has already peed in it. Is there a way to get him not to do this or will he grow out of it? I’m not sure if I should scold him — and haven’t so far b/c he is a puppy.
